Nigel Danby (Player Manager).Experienced defender signed from Harrogate Railway in 2003. Seems to get better and better as the seasons progress and has been rewarded with both the supporters and players player of the year for the past two years. A veteran of many clubs including Goole Town. Appointed in November 2005

John Price (Assistant manager) Experienced in the West Yorkshire non-league scene as both player and coach, most latterly with Eccleshill United, but also Guisely and Farsley Celtic.

Chris Hill (Goalkeeper).Signed from Bridlington Town in the summer of 2004. Hugely experienced keeper who has also played for Guisely and Whitby Town.

James Bonarias (Defender) Recent signing from Selby Town. Pacey full-back who made a goal scoring debut.

Mark Willoughby (Defender/Midfield).Signed from Pickering Town in November 2003. A young player who has made a good impression on the Goole supporters.

Dave Watts (Defender). Another very experienced defender who twice led Ossett Albion to promotion before and repeated the achievement at Goole. Also played for Ossett Town and Thackley Very much the leader on the field. Very dangerous from corners.

Jimmy Gore (Defender/Midfield).Experienced midfielder previously with Castleton Gabriels in the NWCL and Harrogate Railway. Signed in October 2003 and added stability to the centre of the park. Can also play full-back with great effect.

Rob Constable (Defender) Local lad from Goole who has joined the Vikings after several years with Leeds United where he was an ever present with the reserve side and spent part of last season on loan at York City. Captain of the side despite not yet being 20 years old.

Jacob Stannard (Midfield). Son of the club’s Under 19 coach, Jacob is a promising youngster who recently made his first start for the first team. Regular goalscorer for the juniors.

Graham Whitehead (Midfield). Signed in the summer of 2004 from junior football and surprised everybody by scoring sixteen goals from midfield. Has a powerful shot and is exceptionally good in the air.

Adam Walker (Midfield). A highly rated young player who has progressed through the reserves to gain a regular place in the squad. England Under 18 trialist.

Craig Gorman (Midfield).18 year old product of the reserves who scored on his first team debut and followed up with two more in the next two games. Has now won a regular place in the squad.

Wayne Benn (Midfield). Recent signing from Bradford PA. Highly experienced with over 500 games and made an immediate impact on the side and supporters. Also played for Halifax Town, Frickley and Wakefield.

Lee Dawson (Midfield). Another recent signing from Bradford who made a goalscoring debut against Fleetwood. Lively wide player with a powerful shot

Godwin Dawson (Midfield). Recent signing from the West Yorkshire League. Very experienced player whose tough tackling and strong running has made him an instant hit with the fans.

James McDaid (Midfield). Currently on loan from Farsley Celtic. Skilful player who has also played for both Harrogate clubs.

Jamie Jackson (Striker) Local youngster who has recently made his first team debut and looks full of promise. Another product of the Under 19 set up.Already on target twice

Steve Davey (Striker). Signed in 2003 from Harrogate Railway where he was the NECL's top scorer. A very experienced striker who causes havoc in the penalty area.

James Chafer (Striker). Local youngster who made a goalscoring debut as a substitute at the end of last season. Recently made his first start. Very quick and a good finisher.

Alex Nesovic (Striker). Well travelled striker recently signed from Ossett Town. Has played in the Scottish League, in Ireland for a number of Yorkshire clubs.
