Carol started watching Goole Town in the mid 1970’s when her father (Eric Lawton) was chairman and her mother (Rita) used to make the teas for the visiting officials.

She had a break from football when she got married to her husband Graeme and they had a daughter named Amy, but when Graeme started watching Goole AFC and her father became involved again, she started to tag along.

Now Carol helps the club by selling the “Golden Goal” tickets and just like mum making teas for the visiting teams officials. She still enjoys the football but does not get a lot of time to watch the game.
