Goole AFC find themselves in three national cup competitions this season, The FA Cup the FA Vase, and for the first time we are entering a side in the FA Youth Cup.

In the FA Cup we begin with three away matches, if we manage to be successful in the extra preliminary round against Winterton Rangers on Saturday August 28th we can then progress to play the newcomers to the North West Counties League Cammell Laird on 4th September over at Birkenhead in the preliminary round. The 3rd away match is a daunting task, it provides us with a chance to play Bridlington Town on September 18th in the first qualifying round.

The Vikings have a bye in the first qualifying round of the Carlsberg sponsored FA Vase and then entertain Guisborough Town from the Albany Northern League here at the VPG on Saturday September 25th.

The young Academy side many of which should be eligible for the Youth Cup have their moment of national fame in the second qualifying round on Tuesday September 28th when they play Frickley Athletic from the Unibond League.
